Seattle!

Remember those free flight vouchers we used to go to the Dominican Republic? Well, we had a couple more to use so we went to Seattle to visit some of our dearest friends!

First up, visit Ashley and her cute family in Dupont. Oh, it was so wonderful to spend a few days with them! We had a BLAST hiking, playing badminton, paying pinball, and going to the pumpkin patch.

Then we were fortunate enough for this lovely reunion. We took the ferry across and drove to Poulsbo to meet up with Spencer and Becca. We had dinner overlooking the water and many good laughs. Oh, we miss them. But, we are already planning a return trip in spring!

We spent the next day in Seattle. LOVED Pike Place. If only I could take a flower bouquet home. We had perfect weather and loved walking around the city. Definitely doable in a day.

On our flight home, we had a 5 hour layover, so what did we do? Rented kayaks and kayaked around naples in Long Beach. It was LOVELY. We had a very happy trip.

New Car

It was time to say goodbye to my little Perla. We were worried she was heading down a path of needing more repairs than she was worth. We had been looking at 4 runners for a while and decided to jump on this one. It has all the bells and whistles (including a sub-woofer haha), came from the original owner, and has been really well taken care of.
So far we love our Ruby. Although I don't love paying for the gas, I'm very happy with everything else!

Goodbye Perla. Sad day.

Best Friends Forever

Every year, Amy comes up with a fun birthday party for her hubby and we get lucky enough to take part in them. This year we had a blast at LASER QUEST. We enjoyed our night just being kids!
