Celebrating one year with the love of my life.

Can't believe how fast it went. 

I refuse to be called anything but newlyweds - for the next eternity of years.

On this series. Never thought I would be, but after seeing the movie, I knew I needed to read the books. The plot is so odd, but the books are SOOOO good! 

And trust me folks, it takes a lot to get me hooked on a book! On to the second one...

 

Coupon Savings

I'm not a crazy coupon lady, but I try to save us money in any way I can. In our last year of marriage (and with the help of a dear friend who loves to coupon) I have learned that there are certain things I'll never pay full price for. I usually collect my ads by stealing them from Nick's grandma's newspaper on Sunday and then I've found a senior-type apartment complex near my house that has the Tuesday ads of which I have permission to take. 

Nexcare bandaids: $0.95 each

Right Guard bar soap: $0.97

Dawn dish liquid: $0.83

Ivory bar soap: $0.24

Olay bar soap: $1.07 each

Grand total of purchase: $6.49

Total cost without coupons: $13.28

Savings of 51% or $6.79

P.S. You get what you pay for when it comes to bandaids. Yeah, the cheap-o generic brands don't STICK!
